Free Shipping Information:

RugScout includes free shipping on any size rug ordered and shipped to you anywhere within the contiguous United States.

Delivery Time:

Typically RugScout processes your order within 24 hours of receipt, the manufacturer ships it out in two to four days, and depending on your location, and transit takes an additional three to six days. Most orders are received in about ten to fourteen business days from the time your order is placed. RugScout will process your area rug order within one to two business days of receipt, sending you an email to confirm your order status. Rugs are usually shipped by UPS or FedEx ground, arriving one to two weeks after your order has been confirmed. Oversized rugs (9+ foot width, 12+ foot length, or over UPS or FedEx weight limits) ship via commercial trucking service and take an additional one to three weeks. Once your shipment is on its way, if a tracking number is available, RugScout will forward it to you via email. For oversized rug shipments, you will be contacted by the commercial carrier to setup your curbside delivery appointment. If an ordered rug is out of stock or on back order, you will be notified via email or phone about any shipping or processing delay time.

Tracking Your Shipment:

RugScout typically receives tracking information two to three days of after we have confirmed your RugScout order and placed a shipment order with the supplier. As soon as any available tracking information becomes available, you’ll receive the information via email. We will either send you a UPS or FedEx tracking number or, for oversized rugs, the contact, shipment information and instructions for the commercial carrier.

What Should I Do If My Rug Arrives Damaged, Defective Or Incorrect?

When your rug is delivered, if there are obvious signs of damage or other trouble, note the damage with the carrier if possible. Check the packed materials for damage, tears or any other problems. If the order is defective or damaged, you may refuse delivery, but please do contact us as soon as possible so we can remedy the situation via return.

Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico:

Regular size rugs shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico will be charged an additional $125 per rug. Oversized rugs (9+ foot width, 12+ foot length, or over UPS or FedEx weight limits) will be charged an additional $300 per rug. Once we confirm receipt of your order, RugScout will contact you to separately process this additional non-refundable shipping charge.

Canada, APO/FPO Addresses, US Virgin Islands, Caribbean, PO Boxes, Other Virtual Addresses:

Sorry, RugScout does not ship to any of these locations. Other non-US countries and other US territories are also not available destinations. A verifiable physical street address is required for all RugScout shipments.

VAT, Duties, Import Fees, Taxes, Tariffs:

RugScout only ships within the United States, there are no available RugScout shipping destinations that charge VAT, Duties, Import Fees, Export Fees or Tariffs associated with orders that RugScout accepts. Sales Tax, for shipments to Florida only, is the only additional tax or fee of any acceptable RugScout shipment destinations, and that sales tax will be included, and paid for by the purchaser, with their order.

Applicability of Information:

RugScout displays some area rugs that we don't offer for sale directly to you, rather we point you to a separate party that sells directly to you. These cases are very clearly marked on RugScout.com and you would be taken to entirely different website, the supplier's website, to process and complete your order in these cases. If your purchase occurred on another website, and was not a purchase you made from RugScout.com, then obviously RugScout's shipping information, policies, free shipping offer, return policies and other policies do not apply to your purchase.
